Community Policing

Community policing requires police and citizens to join together as partners in the course of identifying and effectively addressing issues that directly and indirectly affect the community as a whole. Community policing focuses on crime and social disorder through the delivery of police services that includes aspects of traditional law enforcement, as well as prevention, problem-solving, community engagement, and partnerships.  Community Policing balances reactive responses to calls for service with proactive problem-solving centered on the causes of crime and disorder.  With this union, Atlantic Beach will continue to be a place for all to enjoy in safety and serenity that we all deserve.

National Night Out 2010 a great success !

National Night Out was a huge success again this year. We wish to thank all our sponsors, volunteers and guests for making this event a wonderful time for everyone. Free prizes were again raffled off this year which included a 2 GPS systems, 4 Bicycles and numerous other gifts and merchandise.

Over 500 hotdogs, 350 BBQ sandwiches, 440 slices of pizza were given away along with 600 sodas and 400 bottles of water were given away.

We would like to thank Sgt. Sherrie Culpepper for her dedication to our annual event for serving as event coordinator.
